Goat Cheese
Goat cheese matured in brine, with a pleasant tart flavour and mild, clean taste. It is produced from fresh pasteurised goat’s milk, selected mainly from the mount Kissavos. In this verdant area, the local goat breeds are giving milk of excellent taste and quality due to the climatic conditions and the reach vegetation.
Goat milk is easily digestible as it contain less α(s1) Casein. Its consumption improves metabolism of iron and calcium in the body, helping thus to prevent osteoporosis.
Lytras Goat Cheese is low in Lactose ( <0,3%) and less allergenic, thus safer for consumption by people suffering from lactose intolerance and who may be sensitive to dairy products.
Enjoy Lytras Goat cheese with a full-bodied, fruity flavoured red wine.
Combine it with watermelon during summertime, it’s just delicious!
